Parmesan Chicken Tenders

Ingredients
  

  • 1 (12 ounce) package of Bell & Evans Gluten Free Breaded Chicken Tenders
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoons dried basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon granulated garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon granulated onion
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • pinch of pink salt
  • 1/2 to 1 cup parmesan or mozzarella cheese (optional)
  • 1 jar of favorite Marinara Sauce
  • 1 package of your favorite gluten free pasta

Instructions
 

  • Pre-heat oven to 375°.
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or non-stick silicone mat, set aside.
  • In a shallow mixing bowl, whisk egg.
  • In another shallow mixing bowl, mix together grated parmesan cheese, dried basil, granulated garlic, granulated onion, black pepper, and pink salt.
  • Remove chicken tenders from the package one at a time and dip each chicken tender into the whisked egg and then dredge through the cheese mixture on both sides. Place on the lined baking sheet. Repeat this step until all chicken tenders have been dipped in the egg and coated with the cheese mixture.
  • Place baking sheet in oven and bake for 15 minutes on one side and then flip chicken tenders over and allow them to bake for another 15 minutes on the other side until golden brown.
  • Remove chicken tenders from oven and add 1⁄4 cup of your favorite marinara sauce to each tender.
  • Sprinkle desired amount of parmesan or mozzarella cheese over the chicken tenders and place them back into the oven.
  • Set the oven to broil (high) for 2-3 minutes until cheese is melted.
  • Serve with your favorite marinara sauce over gluten free pasta or spaghetti squash.
